What is Garbino?

Garbí (or Garbino) is the warm wind that sweeps across the Balearic Islands and the Costa Brava on summer afternoons, sometimes carrying with it fine sand all the way from the Sahara.

Hi! I am Marina, a painter based in Barcelona. Thank you for stopping by this small exhibition of big paintings! These three canvases were made in my studio, and they reflect what I love most: colorful, summer scenes full of warmth and Mediterranean light. I hope they bring a little of that feeling to you too.
